Dr. S.K. Aggarwal was not just the founder of our company — he was the moral backbone, the compass, the quiet force that shaped everything Stelor stands for.
Born in a modest home in Jaitu Mandi, Punjab, to a homemaker and a junior school teacher, he grew up where genuine comfort was rare and electricity was a luxury — a flickering hope that came and disappeared like a shooting star. As the eldest sibling, responsibility found him early, and hardship became both his teacher and his test.
Despite having no guidance, no privilege, and no roadmap, he prepared fiercely for the Pre-Medical Test (PMT) — and succeeded. He earned his place in one of Punjab’s most prestigious institutions: Amritsar Medical College. But life never made things easy. In his final year, after an unjust dispute with a professor, he fought back — not through influence, but through law. He represented himself, filed a writ petition before the Punjab & Haryana High Court, and won. That victory didn’t just earn him his medical degree — it defined his spirit.
He became a doctor. But his heart remained with power, engineering, and the dream of contributing to something bigger: electricity for every home, especially for villages like the one he grew up in. He understood what darkness meant. And he wanted to change that.
In 1987, driven by courage and conviction — and barely three years into his medical career — he founded Shiv Shakti Electricals. What began as a modest unit would soon shape the electrical backbone of Punjab, with Dr. S.K. Aggarwal becoming one of the earliest pioneers of transformer engineering in the region.

A Story That Defines Us
The Anecdote
One day, years ago, a client placed an order for a transformer. Dr. Aggarwal sourced the materials, calculated the costs, and finalised the quote. Work began immediately — he never believed in delay.
Midway, he discovered that the winding material cost came out significantly lower than anticipated.
He could have kept the difference. No one would have known, no one would have asked but he walked to the client himself. He explained the calculations. And he returned the excess amount in cash, in an envelope, with both hands.The client was stunned. “Why are you doing this?” he asked. Dr. Aggarwal smiled — the same calm, sincere smile he always had — and said: “Because the price you pay should reflect what the work deserves. Nothing more. Nothing less.”
That envelope was small. But the values inside it were enormous.
